The Koskombuis

The Koskombuis or food kitchen was started by Salama, a colored woman from a village near Humansdorp. I have very great respect for this woman who, in her own little house in this village, gives so many children food three times a week. She cooks food, with other women, for children who would otherwise not get enough to eat. Even sick children come here for nourishment. Food are dished out in a plastic bowl on Mondays,Wednesdays
    and Fridays at noon.

Chess Club Hoogeveen, J.van Marten, Lotte and Laura and the Ladies Circle have helped with money to make this possible. These kids get something to eat with very little money. Laura and Lotte from Holland have even sold old toys to collect money for these children.
The money comes directly to the right place because I bring it myself with no one in between. Salama helps these kids because of her faith. I myself have a very good feeling about the help these children are getting.
